Formula 10.0.6 | Review

Formula 10.0.6 is one of my all time favourite skincare brands.
They use natural ingredients in all the products which is great for all skin types including sensitive skin. Their products not only work amazingly but smell amazingly too!
I currently own 2 face masks and a blemish cream which I have reviewed below but I would love to try all their other products as I'm sure they'll be as great as these ones.
My first ever Formula 10.0.6 product was the Rescue Me! Acne Blemish Treatment.
Being a teenager, I deal with blemishes on a daily basis. I've tried many different blemish creams and cleansers and I have to say this is one of the best! I find it targets the pimple straight away and after a few days to a week I can really notice the changes. I believe that if you're trying to find an instant pimple removing cream, you're dreaming. This is the closest thing you have to a miracle. A few of my friends have complained that the scent isn't that pleasant but it doesn't phase me. A blemish cream is something you usually use at night so the scent isn't going to affect anyone but yourself. It's not a bad scent it just isn't a flowery, tropical scent. Just something to keep in mind.
Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask Orange + Bergamot
Now this is a scent you cannot refuse. It literally smells like someone has zested an orange and compiled it into mask form. I've tried a lot of mud masks that smell musky, dry and just unpleasant but definitely not this one!
The product itself is AMAZING. It's a cleansing and brightening mask that makes your skin feel super smooth. I use it 1-2 times a week depending on how good my skin is and I've really noticed a difference in the amount of breakouts I've had after using this product. I've read other reviews that say it burns their skin but I believe if you only apply a thin layer, you can feel the product drying and hardening around your skin but never burning. After washing it off, your skin feels silky smooth and clean of impurities! Would highly recommend this to people who are prone to breakouts!
Keep Your Cool Breakout Calming Mask Peppermint + Coconut
This is my favourite product out of the three that I own. There's nothing worse than a bright red pimple in the middle of your forehead. This product completely calms those pesky blemishes in an instant. By instant I mean about 4-6 hours but that's pretty damn good if you ask me. The mask itself feels so refreshing and light on your face and it's active ingredients really work on your breakouts. The good thing about this mask is that it's so thin that it will melt into your skin so you don't have to wash it off. This product has been a life saver in many occasions!

Formula 10.0.6 is available from Priceline, Target or Big W in Australia at very low prices.
They sell a whole range of skincare products including masks, blemish creams,
facial wipes and cleansers.
They are all made of natural ingredients and work tremendously.
Definitely recommend giving this brand a try!

Where have you been? | Life Update

Hello everyone, I'm back!!
Sorry I disappeared from the face of the earth for a while.
This past month has been exceedingly busy so here's a little life update on what I've been up to.

School Production Rehearsals
So my school is doing FAME the musical as their production this year! For those of you who don't know it's basically about a group of students in a performing arts school who have to rise to a series of various challenges that they encounter along the way.

Back in late February we had a full day of auditions where we all had to sing, dance and act our little hearts out in hope of getting a role. I was lucky enough to receive the role of Iris Kelly who is the 'best dancer' in the school! I was so overwhelmed as I've never been cast as a lead so this was a big step out of my comfort zone.

Since February, I've been dancing and singing at least twice a week in rehearsals and running over lines in my spare time. It's been pretty hectic but heaps of fun! There's something so joyous about being a different person for a while. The show is in about a month so I'm going to be super busy going over everything until it's perfect!!

Onto some less exciting news. Those dreaded mid-year exams came waaaay too quickly for my liking. Studying is my least favourite thing to do ever :( But hard work does lead to success so I just had to suck it up and get into the books. On the plus side, I got many days off to 'study' aka watch every TV series ever and eat everything!!
Party and Party and Yeah + work
Lots of my friends are May babies so I had a gathering nearly every weekend! They were pretty casual so I didn't take any photos for GRWM posts but there will be many more to come! Along with the parties came the reality of work. This took up majority of my weekends so I had no time to blog or do anything for myself for that matter.

Me Time
Speaking of doing things for myself, I've spent a lot of time lately, thinking about what I want to do with my life. At the moment I have absolutely no idea but I do know it has to be something I love.
So far this year, I spent way too much time obsessing about other people and not so much on myself. That way sound very vain and selfish but you need to love yourself before you are able to love others.

In the month of June I'm making it my goal to do more things that make me happy such as pamper nights and baking. Of course I'm still going to obsess over my friends lives and care about their problems all the same but I'm also going to make sure I have enough 'me time'.
If you are reading this, make it your goal too that this month you do more for you :)
So life hasn't been that exciting but at least it's kept me busy. I'd love to hear about exciting things happening in your lives so leave them in the comments!
Hope you enjoyed this little update and that you're having a great day :)

Follow me on Instagram !

Hey everyone!
As you may or may not know, this blog has it's very own Instagram!
In the beginning I rarely used it but now I've started to post quite regularly so it would be great if you could give it a follow! It's a really great way to communicate with me as well as find out what I'm doing and what products I'm liking especially when I don't have time to write a whole blog post about it. Here's some examples of what I've posted so far and there will be many many more photos in the future :)

Top 5 Essence Products

So as you know there's A LOT of makeup brands out there.
But sometimes the most affordable brands get ignored as people think you get what you pay for
and sometimes that's the case but not for everything.
Essence is an extremely affordable makeup brand available at Priceline and Target
that have some amazing products.
Yes they have some pretty crappy ones too but I'm here
to tell you about the ones worth buying!
Here are my top 5 in no particular order.

This bronzer comes in two shades: blondes and brunettes. Though the one for brunettes is only slightly darker. This bronzer is more of an all over bronzer rather than a contour colour as it's more orangey than brown. For only $6.15 you get a huge ass amount of product that will last you forever.
I used this product as a daytime bronzer to slightly accentuate the cheek bones and give my face a summer glow. Be sure to apply this product lightly and build it up to avoid an orange/brown mess on your face. I like how its not too dark so my face doesn't look dirty. Highly recommend!!

Soo Glow Cream to Powder Highlight
This has got to be the best cream to powder highlight I've ever used. As soon as its applied it changes its creamy formula to a smooth glowing powder. I apply this with my finger as a cheek bone highlight and it looks stunning!! This beauty is only $5.75 which is a total bargain! If there's one product to buy from essence this one's the one.
Example of Sun Club Bronzer-Blondes and
Soo Glow Cream to Powder Highlight

Eyebrow Stylist Set 1.0 Kit
This product has been raved about my many people out there so it's definitely a good one! The set comes with a light brown and dark brown colour though I only use the dark shade. Using an angles eyeliner brush and a spoolie, you can achieve some rocking brows so they're on fleek ;)

I Love Extreme Volume Mascara
This mascara has a huge brush and is very wet. This may cause disaster but with patience and the right application, this mascara works wonders. I have the shortest eyelashes ever and this mascara gives me both volume and length. You just have to be careful applying it.

Lipliner- Cute Pink
I love lipliners, they provide colour without being thick or sticky on the lips. This one from essence is only $2!! There's not much more to say than it does the job wonderfully. Example in picture above.

Hope you liked this type of post! If you did be sure to comment
below and follow me on bloglovin or via email :)

I know, I know, its been a while but I'm back and better than ever! Sorry I've been so absent lately but school and work have been so hectic that I never got a spare moment to sit down and write a blog post.

Anyways, I WENT TO ED SHEERAN and it was the most magical night of my life.
There's just something about that ginger man alone with just a guitar in his hand that's so mesmerising. If you like his music definitely go see him live!!
My best friend and I were lucky enough to get tickets in section 9, row H which in my opinion is pretty damn close!!
Everything that happened on the night felt so special and I'm never going to forget it.

Here's how I dressed for the night. I also added a few pics of Ed at the end!
Hope you enjoy :)

Australian Tag

Hey everyone how are you ?
Today I'm going to be doing the Australian tag which is basically a bunch of
Australia related questions.
Nobody tagged me to do this but I thought it would be fun and you could
learn a little more about me :)

Which state do you live in?
I live in Victoria which is right down the bottom of Australia on the right.
Which states have you visited around Australia?
I've been to Sydney in New South Wales at least 10 times as my uncle and auntie live there. I went to Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory for school camp. And lastly I've been to Adelaide and Kangaroo Island which is in South Australia.
I would really like to travel all around Australia on a massive road trip once I've finished school!

What do you order at Boost Juice?
For those of you who don't know, Boost is an Australian juice and smoothie store. I never order the same thing at Boost as I love to try new flavours but the low fat smoothies are definitely my favourites!

Suprè, Valleygirl or Cotton On
Wow this is a very hard question!! I don't shop at Suprè anymore as I find everything is really cheap quality and a little bit tacky. So it's a fight between Valleygirl and Cotton On. I might have to say Valleygirl because majority of my clothes are from there though I do have quite a lot from Cotton On as well !

Sportsgirl or Dotti
These two shops are a little more high end so I don't shop there often but I'm going to have to say sportsgirl as I love all their accessories and makeup items.

Who is your favourite Australian actor/actress?
There is no way I could of picked one person for this question!!
The hottie Hemsworth brothers have to be my favourite aussie actors as they are smoking hot!!
For actresses, I love Isla Fisher in Now You See Me and Confessions of a Shopoholic. I also loved Phoebe Tonkin when she was in H2O Just Add Water as well as Tomorrow When The War Began.
And of course how could I forget comedian Rebel Wilson.

Describe your formal night at school?
So for those Americans out there, formal is like prom here in Aus. I haven't actually had my formal yet but I have one this year which I will definitely blog about!

Do you like Vegemite and how do you eat it?
This is a funny one because up until a month ago I hated Vegemite. I found it way too salty and didn't like it one bit. That was until I was forced to eat it  everyday for a week while away with my best friend. After that week I just grew to love it! The trick is to put a tiny bit over the top of butter on your toast and then it's d-lish !

Have you seen or petted a kangaroo?
I've seen kangaroos many times but I've never petted one. It's on my bucket list though!

Have you ever seen the Harbour Bridge?
Yes I've seen the harbour bridge, driven on the bridge and I've actually walked on top of the Harbour Bridge. This is probably the most surreal experience ever and I really recommend you give it a go if you get the chance because it's amazing!!

Do you say mate or gday ?
I say mate sometimes with my friends but as a joke not seriously. I rarely ever say gday even as a joke.

Do you say flip flops or wedges ?
I don't say either! I say thongs which to a few of you might sound a little dirty!

Do you say jumper or sweater?
I say jumper.

What do you think of Australia overall ?
I think Australia is a great country to live in. We have pretty good weather, beautiful nature as well as architecture and I believe Australians are genuinely nice people :)

So that's all the questions for the Australian Tag!
If you have any more questions about Australia please leave them in the comments :)

Liebster Award

I have been nominated by the lovely Natasha and Emily from FloralsAndCoralsx!
Thank you so much girls :)

If you've never heard of the Liebster Award don't worry because I hadn't either until today! Basically it's awarded to blogs under 200 followers to help them grow with the help of other small blogs.

The rules:
- Thank the blogger who nominated you in your post (include blog link)
- Answer the 11 questions asked by the blogger who nominated you
- Nominate another 11 bloggers who are under 200 followers and include their links
- Notify the selected bloggers
- Come up with your own set of 11 questions for them to answer

Natasha and Emily asked me the following questions:

1. What is your favourite colour?
I don't think I have a favourite colour as I tend to like all colours! I like different colours for different things. For example in terms of clothes I wear colours that suit my skin tone and/or based on how I'm feeling whereas for things in my room I stick to a pink, white and blue pallet.

2. What/who inspired your blog?
I've been watching YouTube throughout my whole childhood but only really started getting into it about 2 years ago. Through watching people like Zoe Sugg aka Zoella, Niomi Smart, Louise aka Sprinkleofglitter, Tanya Burr, Essiebutton, etc. I found the world of blogging and I just wants to be apart of it. Ever since I started to frequently watch these people as well as read their blogs, I wanted a blog of my own but never brought myself to do it until the 19th of October 2014 where I wrote my first ever post- hey hi hello  :)

3. What is your favourite makeup item(s)?
This is a really hard question but if I had to choose makeup items that I couldn't live without it would definitely have to be concealer, mascara and an eyebrow pencil or shadow. In my opinion, if you have a nice base, long eyelashes and nicely filled in eyebrows, you are complete!

4. Where is your favourite place to be?
I would love to have a really cute favourite place like the local park but being honest I reckon my favourite place to be is my bed! When I think of all the times I've been sad or had a hard day at school, I always end up snuggled up in bed with my iPad watching Pretty Little Liars, Greys Anatomy or my favourite youtubers.

5. What is your favourite hair product?
My favourite hair product has to be batiste dry shampoo. It's an absolute lifesaver when it comes to having fresh and voluminous hair without having to shower or style it.  Makes my life so much easier!

6. What is your favourite nail varnish brand?
Being 100% honest, I hate painting my nails. Especially my finger nails. I am not a patient person so I always ruin my polish before it dries. If it actually does dry, I end up chipping it in the next few days. That's why I don't spend a heap of money on nail polish and I don't tend to buy any for myself. I do however really like these fluro ones from ChiChi that came in a set. They go on quite smooth and they have really good colour pay off.

7. Who is your favourite blogger?
This is definitely the hardest question of the lot. It's impossible to just pick one person as I like a whole range of people for different things.

8. What is your favourite scent?
When it comes to scents I just like anything fruity or floral. At the moment my go to perfume is 'Signiture' by Victoria Beckham.

9. What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my very little spare time, I like to watch my favourite tv shows and youtubers. I also really like to have pamper sessions that involve having a bath and putting on a face mask as I find them very relaxing and they make me feel rejuvenated. And of course I love to go shopping because there's just so much joy in getting new things!

10. What is your favourite skincare product?
My favourite skincare product at the moment has to be the Frank coffee scrub. It may be a bit messy but it always leaves my skin feeling super silky and soft.

11. Who is your favourite celebrity?
Jennifer Lawrence hands down has to be my favourite celeb. She's just so down to earth and has such a lovely personality. Let alone being an amazing actress and singer too!!

So that's all the questions! I nominate the following bloggers:
(I don't know many bloggers under 200 followers but I'll keep adding to the list when I do)
Yellow Paper Dress (travelling adventures)
Green Fingerprint  (diy projects)

My 10 questions for you are:
1. What is the reason for your blog name?
2. What's your favourite place you've travelled to?
3. What's one thing you want to achieve by the end of the month?
4. What kind of diy projects do you do in your spare time? (If you do diy)
5. Who is your favourite singer/band?
6. What are your favourite blogs to read?
7. What are you wearing right now?
8. If you could go back in time, would you?
9. Where do you feel the happiest?
10. What are your favourite tv shows?
11. Do you have any pets?

I feel quite privileged to have been nominated for this award as now you
guys know a little more about me!
I hope that the people I nominated choose to do a post.
Let me know as I would love to read it!!
Also if you're a small blog please comment down below and I might nominate you too :)

January Favourites

The start of a new month means it's time to talk about last month's favs.
This is my first favourites post of the year and I have to say it was hard to narrow down my list!
I've got lots of beauty favs as well as some random ones thrown in there.
Hope you enjoy xx

Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil 'Black Brown' $8.50
Let's start off with my favourite brow product of the month.
It's got to be this pencil from Rimmel by far. Since it's been the holidays, I haven't wanted to spend a tone of time doing my makeup in the morning so I've been using this product non stop.
Using light strokes, I can fill in both my brows in under 2 minutes.
This pencil makes doing my brows quick and easy and it stays on all day too.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick 'Coral in Gold' $9.95

Next up is a lipstick favourite. I've been wearing this one by Rimmel in the shade 'Coral in Gold' nearly every single day of January. It's a very subtle orangey coral colour and it looks really natural on the lips. It's goes on more like a sheen rather than a bright block of colour so if you want it to stand out, I suggest wearing a lip liner underneath. In terms of quality, I find that I have to re-apply every hour or so if it's worn on its own but when it's over a lip liner, it lasts for an extra couple of hours. This lipstick is a great colour for summer but it could also be worn as a lovely autumn shade.
Truespa White Vanilla & Jojoba Body Butter

If you're lazy like me, you'll hate moisturising. Though with summer here, I've been getting pretty dry skin so I had to make the effort. I got this for christmas from Sonia and I've been using it ever since. I like it mostly because of its heavenly vanilla scent. It's also a really good moisturiser and it sinks into the skin without it feeling sticky. Unfortunately as this is a gift, I don't know where it's from but if you know, please leave it in the comments!
Schwarzkopf Extra Care Marrakesh Oil & Coco Milk Express Mousse Treatment 125.0 ml $8.99
Summer means pools and beaches, but that also means disgusting pool and beach hair.
I don't know about you but my hair does not react well to pool water and the ocean. After spending a lovely day at the pool or beach, my hair develops this horrible texture that's all icky and feels like I've got glue running through it. In the pasts years, I would leave my conditioner in for about 10 minutes so it acted like a hair mask. This would help with the glue feeling but it still felt yuck for a couple of days. This was until I discovered this mousse treatment by Schwarzkopf with Marrakesh oil and Coco milk. The oil helps to break down the gluey texture and the milk helps to soften the hair, making it silky smooth again. I've been running this mousse through my towel dried hair after all my days spent at the pool or beach and not once have I been left with horrible feeling hair.
Please do your hair a favour and try this!!

Target Active Foam Roller- Grey $15
Now if you've read my The Power of Will Power post, you'll know that I started the Bikini Body Workout Guide by Kayla Itsines. A very important part of exercising is stretching and rehabilitation to make sure you don't injure yourself. I got this foam roller from target to help stretch my muscles after working out so I'm less sore the next day. I've found that doing it for only about 10 minutes really helps. Foam rolling itself is a little painful especially on your quads but its definitely a
no pain no gain situation!

To help with all the different events and dates school brings, I decided to get a weekly planner from Kmart to help organise my week so I get everything done. I've found that just writing little reminders of what I need to do on that day helped a lot with the organisation of my day and it helped me actually complete everything on the list.
I think this will be great for school so you can write what days you're going to do your homework and if you stick to it, you won't be stressed when everything piles up at once.
Milk Bottle
One of my most favourite things this month has definitely got to be these milk bottles. Again, this was a christmas gift kindly given to me by my friend I've known since primary school, Marian, so I don't know where they're from. This just shows how much she knows me as I love cute things like this and I've also been making heaps of smoothies lately. She gave me two baby blue ones and two baby pink ones which I've been drinking from everyday whether it be a smoothie or just water. They just make drinking things so much more exciting and fun :')

Tell me what you've been loving in January below!

What's In My Pencil Case | Back to school

Hello lovelies!
Here's another back to school post ready for the start of school in a few days.
Today I'm going to be showing you 'what's in my pencil case'/ my pencil case essentials.
Let me know in the comments what else you put in your pencil case :)

The Pencil Case
A new school year means a new pencil case! I usually buy an inexpensive one as there's no point buying something pricey that I'm only going to use for a year.
This one was $6 from Kmart and I chose this design because it reminded me of my summer holidays.
It has two zip compartments and is slightly larger than an a4 book which means I can fit a whole heap of stationary in there!
These two pens have been my go to pens all throughout high school.
I like using the blue/black/red/green pen for all my writing and the
pink/purple/green/blue pen for headings.
4 coloured pens are great as you can use a whole range of colours without
having to keep changing pens.
This can be really helpful when you're rushing to write down notes but you still want them to look presentable.
As for pencils, I always keep a 2B pencil, HB pencil, a lead pencil and spare lead.
2B and HB pencils aren't too heavy and it can be erased really easily.
I also like to have a lead pencil for fine writing or drawing.
Eraser & White Out
For all those mistakes made with the last two items, I have an eraser and white out tape.
My school doesn't allow liquid paper so that's why I have the tape but to be honest, I prefer it as you don't have to wait for it to dry.
Gluestick, Scissors & Sharpener
3 very important essentials.
Not much to say apart from these are a must have!
Fine Liners
Fine Liners are really great to have to draw borders or to outline anything.
I keep a 0.4 tip, a thin tip which is slightly bigger than the 0.4 and a 0.6.
Having a range of sizes lets you achieve your most desirable line.
Coloured Pencils & Markers
Even in high school you'll need coloured pencils and markers at some point!
Great for assignments, flash cards and diagrams.
Highlighters are definitely a must have for school.
These ones by Sharpie have a 3 point tip that helps highlight different sized words.
I highly reccomend having more than one colour too.
Flags & Sticky Notes
Lastly, flags and post it notes.
Flags are great to have as page markers that you can use in your textbooks or notebooks.
I always make sure I have post it notes so I can write down reminders or extra notes that I can paste about anywhere.

Hope you enjoued this post!
I'll be uploading my January Favourites on the 1st of Feburary.
Talk to you then :)

Last Friday Night | GRWM

Hey everyone, here's another GRWM!
Last friday was my friend's 18th birthday party. It was my first ever 18th I've ever been to
and I must say it was A LOT of fun!
Thought you might like to have a snoop into what I wore on the night :)
Enjoy xxx

Dress- Ally Fashion
So first of all let's talk the dress as it's probably the first thing that catches your eye. I spotted this on the racks of Ally Fashion and immediately wanted to try it on. It's a neon orange chiffon shift dress with a high neckline. At first I thought that it might not suit my body shape but now I feel as though whatever body shape you have, a shift dress will look devine! I've never been bold enough to wear something so bright but this year I told myself I'd be more adventurous so this is definitely a step in the right direction. To add to all of that, it was only $26 full price which I think is an absolute bargain for a very nice dress!!

Heels- Rubi Shoes
For shoes I went with these black platform heels that Sonia kindly lent to me (see her here).
I really like how the straps don't cut off the line of your legs, making them look leaner and longer.

Headpiece (being used as a necklace)- Lovisa
Rings on left and thumb ring- Lovisa
Purple Heart Ring- Prouds The Jewellers
Nail polish- O.P.I Solitaire
Why am I wearing a headpiece as a necklace you may ask? Well originally I bought it to wear as a headpiece but as the dress has a high neckline, I felt as though it really needed a necklace. Luckily for me this headpiece has elastic at the back so I could put it over my head. It also has a chain that runs from the front to the back which I just wrapped around the main chain to hide it.
I decided to go for silver rings instead of black because a) I don't have any black rings and b) because I thought that black rings would be too much.

For my hair I kept it natural!
I also applied some Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam the night before just to highlight
the orange a bit more.

For makeup I wanted it to be really simple to make the dress the statement piece. To do this I went for a very neutral look using the ChiChi 'Nudes' pallet, Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner, Australis Lip Liner in Tickled Pink over the lips and Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in LoveBug over the top. I'm also wearing natural looking fake eyelashes from a $2 shop.
*Apologies for bad quality photos as I took them with my phone :/

Here's a couple more photos I took before the party!
Hope you liked this post and all the photos I took.
If you did, be sure to give my blog a follow on either bloglovin or email!
It would actually mean the world to me <3
Thanks in advance ;)
